CURSCA is an annual showcase of student scholarly and creative work, which provides a forum for students to share their work with, and be celebrated by, the Marist community. The first celebration took place in April 2002 with a display of posters. CURSCA has since grown so that the 2015 event will feature a keynote speaker, poster sessions, oral presentations, and other means of expression such as musical and dramatic performances, artwork, and other types of scholarly and creative activity.

Volsky is co-author of Howard Dean’s Prescription for Real Healthcare Reform and appears regularly on radio and TV to analyze politics and policy. In 2011, Forbes named him one of its Top 30 Under 30 in Law & Policy. He grew up in Russia, Israel, and New Jersey.
