School of Science Announces Exchange Program with University of Kent

Marist College welcomes the establishment of an exchange program which will allow Marist College science students to study abroad in Canterbury, England. The University of Kent has a strong international repetition for teaching and research in the science fields. This new and unique partnership will give Marist students the chance to spend a semester at a high quality British university and in exchange Marist College looks forward to welcoming University of Kent students to the Marist campus. Dr. Neil Fitzgerald, Assistant Dean of the School of Science and graduate of University of Kent stated, “Canterbury is a beautiful, ancient city with a European feel and a wonderful place to be a student. I know our students who benefit from this opportunity will have an exceptional experience.” Marist College offers many study abroad programs and this remarkable experience is designed to expand abroad opportunities for science students. “Marist’s School of Science has been steadily increasing abroad opportunities for our students and welcomes this new agreement with the University of Kent at Canterbury” says Dr. James DuMond, Dean of the School of Science. We expect the achievements of our students to only grow from these type of experiences.
