ADHD: A New Vision Through A New Light
On Wednesday, March 20, ADHDaware Coordinators, Melissa Smith and Gale
Zadoff, and the Office of Special Services will co-sponsor a conference on
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder entitled ADHD: A New Vision
Through A New Light. The presentation will be held in the Kondysar
Presentation Room, HC2023, of the Hancock Center from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
The keynote address for this presentation will be given by Dr. Edward
Hallowell, New York Times best selling author, Harvard Medical School
instructor and internationally recognized speaker. Dr. Hallowell has
presented around the world on topics such as ADD, strategies on handling a
fast-paced life, parenting children with ADHD and ADD and other pertinent
family and health issues. He has also been featured in the media,
including Oprah, 20/20, Dr. Phil, 60 Minutes, CNN, the Today Show,
Dateline, Good Morning America, the New York Times, Time Magazine, and the
Harvard Business Review.

include lunch. Scholarships are available for families in need.

to learn more about ADHD and effective treatment strategies, and discover
local resources and services of interest to the ADHD community.
