ROTC Scholarships

High School Students

High school students can be awarded 3 or 4 year scholarships that cover full tuition and room & board. These scholarships are merit-based and awarded to those who stand out academically, physically, and as leaders within their communities.

High school students become eligible to apply upon completion of their juinor year. Requirements for the scholarships include:

  • Be a US Citizen
  • Between the ages 17-26
  • High school GPA of at least 2.5
  • Minimum SAT score of 920 (math/verbal) or ACT score of 19
  • Meet physical standards
  • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army after college

The scholarship process is extremely competetive.  Always remember, even if you do not receive a high school scholarship, you can still enroll in Army ROTC as a college freshman and pursue a scholarship within the battalion!

NOTE: Applying for the Army ROTC scholarship and applying to Marist College are two separate processes.

College Students

College students can also be awarded scholarships that cover tuition and room & board by competing with other students in the program.  College scholarships are based on the same principles and can also be influenced by your actions and success within the program.

If you are currently enrolled at Marist College and would like to get more information about our ROTC program, contact:

Dave Rogers at david.rogers1@marist.edu or (845) 575-3000, ext. 259

Army ROTC at Marist College is a partnership program with Army ROTC at Fordham University.
