Speak-Up: Understanding and Preventing Sexual Violence Training Program
Marist College is committed to taking bold steps toward eradicating all forms of interpersonal violence on our campus and creating an environment where all members of our community can learn, work, and socialize without experiencing or fearing discrimination, sexual assault, harassment, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and retaliation. As part of this commitment, all students, faculty, and staff will complete our training program entitled “Speak-Up: Understanding and Preventing Sexual Violence.” This training is designed to help you learn more about these issues. Only if we work together can we create a community free from interpersonal violence. You play an important role in keeping our community safe. The program does not have to be completed in one sitting but will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. Below you will find a link to the online program.
In addition, we would also ask that you review this website, Title IX and Sexual Misconduct, which outlines our Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct policy along with additional resources. If after completing the training you have further questions related to these topics or the training please contact the Title IX Coordinator, Christina Daniele.
We hope you find the training informative.
(The online training is currently unavailable at this time as we are implementing a new program. We will notify you once the program goes live).
