The Arc of Ulster-Greene

The Arc of Ulster-Greene is a private not-for-profit agency founded in 1956 by families in Ulster and Greene Counties who believed that their children with disabilities should have the same opportunities as their peers. In their first year, they provided school services to approximately 15 children. Today they support over 1,300 people from preschool through adulthood and are one of the largest employers in our area.

With many locations throughout Ulster and Greene counties, their mission remains the same, to offer people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities opportunities to live and experience full lives. Their employees and volunteers are guided by the core values of respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence. They believe each person is unique and provide individualized services to every person, featuring a broad range of innovative and effective programs designed to foster independence, productivity, and participation in community life.

As a way of saying "thank you" to The Arc of Ulster-Greene employees and volunteers who reside in our community, Marist College is offering special tuition pricing for all employees, volunteers, and their immediate adult family members.
