Specializing in the Adult Student

Our mission is to provide quality driven adult education built on a strong liberal arts foundation that will embolden and enhance the ability of professionals to succeed in a global economy. The adult student can choose to pursue an undergraduate degree, professional certification, or executive-level training, either on campus or online. 

What is an Adult Student? Defined at Marist as someone who attends college in a non-typical way.  

What does that mean? It means our adult students usually balance work, family, and other life committments and are typically older than 25, commute to campus, and attend classes part time.

How do we specialize?  We offer various options to complete your undergraduate degree. Formats such as 100% online, classroom mixed with online, as well as weekend and evening classes. Our transfer credit friendly options allow students to maximize use of credits earned from previous colleges/universities, ACE-accredited professional certifications, and credit for certain life work experiences.
