Discussion will focus on the role of the L.D. Specialist.  Topics include teaching/learning styles, time management, compensation techniques and study skills, as well as a look at the Specialist in relation to other staff and support services.

Kids' Day Out! Basketball Clinic

Registration 10:30-11:30

This year the Office of Special Services will host the 18th Annual "Kids Day Out!", a developmental basketball clinic hosted by Special Services and the members of the Red Foxes men's and women's basketball teams. The registration fee of $10 per participant benefits the Marist College Scholarship for Students With Disabilities. This event is designed for children ages 5 thru high school age. Awareness Recognition Ceremony

Date: TBA

The Awareness Recognition Ceremony recognizes members of the Marist and local community for their efforts on behalf of individuals with disabilities both in service to them and in heightening campus and community awareness through their sensitivity. The recipients receive certificates and are recognized at a luncheon in their honor.
