Fall-Spring Program

The Fall-Spring option is a full-time semester of study and internship. Qualified applicants can earn 12-15 college credits, spending 3 or more 8-hour work days per week in a professional setting, combining field experience and Internet-based coursework. Social excursions and activities are featured in the Fall/Spring programs. A student leader organizes trips to Broadway shows, sporting events and other cultural activities. Additionally, faculty lead a series of monthly dinner seminars focused on personal development.

Courses

Students will be enrolled in a minimum of one 3-credit online course. All students will be required to maintain full-time status, or to remain enrolled for 12 or more credits during Fall & Spring semesters. Students choose from a wide array of Marist online courses.

Summer Program

The Summer option is a 10-week residential program open to students who have a college-approved internship in New York City for the summer semester. It is open to students from any major provided the student qualifies for internship support from their respective academic department. All participants must enroll for a minimum of 1 credit for the internship, approved by their respective academic department. The program also offers cohort housing in Manhattan, which requires a minimum enrollment of 3 credits.

Courses

All program participants must enroll in Marist classes or Marist internship courses. Numerous 1 & 3-credit classes are offered each year. Students are advised to check the Summer Course Offerings listed on their Mymarist page.
