“FEEL BETTER FAST”

Who doesn’t feel a little anxious and stressed these days? Anxiety is the most common reason that students at Marist and across the country talk to a counselor, so you're not alone. “Feel Better Fast” is a counseling group designed to help Marist students manage this. Students who attend this group will gain practical skills and knowledge to cope with anxiety, get support from others with similar struggles, and hopefully feel better as a result. “HOPE” GRIEF GROUP

Counseling Services and Campus Ministry are once again offering HOPE, a support group for students who are coping with the death of a family member or other significant person. The group is open to those whose loss occurred some time ago as well as those for whom the loss is more recent. By coming together, students can share their unique experiences while gaining collective solace and support from group members. Knowing they are not alone can help students to heal. “NO BODIES PERFECT”
Do you obsess about your weight and shape? Spend too much time thinking about what you will or won't eat next? Then "No Bodies Perfect" may be right for you. The group provides a safe, confidential setting for students with eating and body image concerns who want to explore, understand and change frustrating ways of coping. “No Bodies Perfect” will be starting soon on Thursdays, 3:30 – 4:45pm.
