Welcome to Marist College and the PreCollege Summer Fashion Institute for high school juniors and seniors. If you are interested in the exciting and dynamic world of fashion then this program is an excellent opportunity for you to earn 3 college credits. The Marist College Fashion Faculty will help you understand the business of fashion through the eyes of either a merchandiser or a designer. At Marist, Fashion is serious business. Jodi Hartmann, Professional Lecturer in Fashion Merchandising, is the director of the Summer Fashion PreCollege Institute. Mrs. Hartmann teaches the following courses in the Fashion Program at Marist College: Textile Science, Product Development, Advanced Product Development, Private Label and Senior Fashion Merchandise Capping. She holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Mrs. Hartmann joined the Marist Faculty after a long career in Product Development with Macys.
