Gateway to Global Experiences

Marist's "sister campus" in Florence, Italy combines the appeal of an American degree program and the unique experience of studying in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Marist Italy has a longstanding partnership with Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici to offer an environment for students to engage in serious learning, garner global experiences, and chase serious fun. The most popular study abroad destination at Marist (among over 75 offered), students can choose to study for a semester, one year, or all four years. In fact, Marist is the only U.S. bachelor degree-granting institution in Florence.

Offering a wide range of Bachelor’s degrees and once in a lifetime opportunities, Florence is an ideal location for Marist students to learn by living and experiencing entirely new cultures. All of the programs offered at Marist’s branch campus are designed to build on the unique strengths of Florence and to treat the city and cultures as extensions of the classroom.

Living in Florence: Tour Our Student Apartments

The residential experience allows students to make great friends, learn about themselves and the world, and live in the heart of Florence. Accomodations for First-Year Florence Experience students are typically one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartments, suitable for a minimum of two and a maximum of eight people. Students usually live in double rooms.
