What You Need to Apply

  • Application: Common Application

  • Fee Waiver: Indicate you have a fee waiver on the payment page.

  • Secondary school transcript(s)

  • SAT/ACT scores:  Marist is a test-optional school, but you can still submit your scores for consideration

  • One Letter of Recommendation: Counselor letter of recommendation is required. Teacher letter of recommendation is now optional for the Fall 2023 application cycle. 

  • Personal essay

  • Any supplemental materialsCheck if your desired program requires application supplements

 

Dates and Deadlines

There's still time. Marist has one more application deadline for Early Decision II and Regular Decision applicants. The sooner you apply, the sooner you'll hear from us with an admission decision.

 

Early Decision 2 | February 15 | Notification by late February

Regular Decision | February 15 | Notification by mid-March

This year we welcomed one of our largest freshman classes in Marist’s history! We selected over 1,300 freshmen from nearly 11,000 applicants, including students from all corners of the globe. It was also among the most racially, ethnically and geographically diverse incoming class in the College’s history. Our current student body represents students from every state and over 50 countries. Here’s the breakdown of our Class of 2026:

GPA: 89-96 or 3.3 – 4.0 (recalculated)
The middle 50% of accepted students averaged between 89 and 96 for their GPA.

SAT: 
The middle 50% scored between 1220 and 1350.
