Bio

Educational Background:

Marist College ’20 B.A. in psychology/special education

Marist College ’21 M.A. in educational psychology

What were you involved with on campus as a student?

On campus I was an ambassador and tour guide, a member and choreographer for the Marist College Dance Ensemble, the education chair for Autism Speaks, a member of Teachers of Tomorrow, Best Buddies, and Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education.

Favorite spot on campus:

My favorite spot on campus are the tables outside of Hancock. I love this spot because I can see the beautiful view of the Hudson River while sipping on my Starbucks from Hancock.

Favorite Marist tradition:

My favorite Marist tradition is Admitted Students Weekend because I love to share my excitement about Marist with future Red Foxes!

Favorite Marist memory:

Any day that I was sitting outside on Marist Beach with my friends!

Best advice for the college search:

My best piece of advice for the college search is to take advantage of any opportunity you have to talk to current students.

Why did you choose Marist?

I chose Marist after the opportunity to shadow an education class during my senior year of high school. I felt welcomed by the Marist students before I was a student here myself, plus I was fully engaged in the course that I attended. The combination of strong academics and a welcoming community sealed the deal!

What makes Marist special to you?

Marist is special to me because of the sense of belonging that I have here. Whether as a student or staff the entire Marist community is welcoming and warm. When I am away I feel “homesick” for Marist.
