Bio
Educational Background:
BA in Communications with a Concentration in Advertising
What were you involved with on campus as a student?
The Center for Social Media, and Intramural Flag Football with my friends
Favorite spot on campus:
Probably the wall! During the evening, it always has a pleasant view of the river and sunset.
Favorite Marist tradition:
Taco Tuesday
Favorite Marist memory:
All the different songs and projects I was able to complete with other Marist students. I love to produce music as a hobby and getting to utilize that passion with others who shared it was a lot of fun.
Best advice for the college search:
Pick the best school for you, and not the best one for your friends. It is easy during the College Search process to get caught up in where everyone from your school is going, and to feel like you will be missing out if you go somewhere else. However, everyone's “dream” school is going to look different, and trust me, you will make friends no matter where you decide to enroll. Put yourself first!
Why did you choose Marist?
Personally, I toured Marist during High School and loved it, however ended up enrolling at another institution my first semester. It was not the right fit, I was lucky enough to be able to have a few friends that attended Marist at the time, and I knew I was in the right place. I was lucky enough to apply again and get accepted!
What makes Marist special to you?
At the risk of sounding generic, it has to be the people. Coming into Marist, and college really, I had no idea what to expect, however I was quickly welcomed by the community. Just walking through campus, you will be greeted by plenty of hellos, and I always like to say how you will be walking, and someone will hold the door for you (they always do), but since you are 50 feet away you have to jog to the door, so they do not have to hold it too long. The community at Marist really makes you feel comfortable, and like you belong.
