Daniel Cox
Visiting Lecturer of Media Arts
Bio
Daniel Cox is a researcher and author. He previously worked at Old Dominion University in the Center for High Impact Practices for two years as part of faculty engagement with a focus on digital pedagogy before moving to the University of Central Florida as a visiting instructor for three years teaching game design and web development.
Daniel also helped create and was the primarily maintainer for the Twine Cookbook, a community-driven educational resource for the hypertext authoring tool Twine for nearly five years. He has been creating open educational resources for a decade and has covered many digital storytelling tools including Twine, ink/Inky, Ren’Py, and Bitsy.
