Dr. Craig Fisher

Bio

Craig enjoyed a 20 year career at IBM where he advanced through various Information Systems positions. Craig has developed and implemented large database systems and related applications. Craig has served as fourth level manager of a computer center with over 200 employees. He also became IBM's World Wide IS Audit Manager and traveled to Japan, Germany, France, Scotland, England, and throughout the United States.

In 1989 Craig began a career as an Information Systems professor at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York. He then earned a Ph.D in Information Science at the University at Albany, New York.

Craig was Program co-Chair and editor for the MIT 2002 Information Quality Conference and was President of the 2003 MIT International Conference on Information Quality, and served on the Board of Directors for 8 years. Craig is co-editor of a book entitled "Information Quality" and is lead author of a textbook, "Introduction to Information Quality," December 2011, WWW.Authorhouse.com  order via email to bkorders@authorhouse.com.

Craig received the 2014 Outstanding Achievement Award in Data and Information Quality from the International Association for Information and Data Quality. Please see http://prlog.org/12381005
