Ms. Cynthia K. Worrad
Assistant Dean, School of Computer Science and Mathematics
Bio
Cynthia Worrad is an Assistant Dean for the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at Marist University. She actively supports programs that encourage and support women pursuing careers in the STEM fields.
Prior to Marist, Cynthia taught mathematics, accounting, and student success skills at Dutchess Community College, as well as writing grant proposals and working on a number of grant-funded student academic support projects, including coordinating the New York State Education Department (NYSED)-funded Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) and the National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program. In addition, Cynthia has 10 years of experience in industry, working in accounting, budgeting, and long-term forecasting for Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation, owning her own business, and teaching in public schools in Ulster County.
