Interim Writing Center Director and Visiting Lecturer of English

Bio

Jill Wienbrock joins the Marist faculty as visiting lecturer and interim Director of the Writing Center after two years of teaching writing and literature courses part time. She teaches courses in the Colleges writing concentration, particularly Writing for College. She received a BA in fiction from The New School in Manhattan and an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Before joining Marist, she has over a decade of experience teaching writing and literacy to learners at nearly every age and level, including adult learners and students with special needs. She has published several fiction and nonfiction pieces and is at work both on a novel and on a writing textbook, as well as a series of personal essays addressing womens health.
