Bonnie LaVon Stivers, PhD, CPA
Professor of Accounting
Bio
Bonnie LaVon P. Stivers is Professor Emeritus of Accounting at Kennesaw State University. After leaving Kennesaw State, Dr. Stivers taught accounting at Dalian Maritime University in China and at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her PhD and MPA from Georgia State University and her undergraduate degree from Rice University. She holds the CPA Certificate in Florida and in Georgia. Her work has been published in CA Magazine, Accounting and EDP, Journal of Systems Management, Journal of Organizational Change Management, Management Accounting, Journal of Strategic Performance Measurement, SAM Advanced Management Journal, Journal of Cost Management, Issues in Accounting Education, and others.
