Linda Haas Manley
Director, School of Management Career Center
Bio
Linda Haas Manley joined Marist College as the Director, School of Management Career Center, beginning January 2019. Ms. Haas Manley has served in Student Affairs within colleges and universities for more than 20 years. She previously served in several career services roles, including Assistant Director of The Maxwell School of Career and Alumni Services and Service-Learning Coordinator and Instructor of the Public Service Exchange within the Cornell Institute of Public Affairs (CIPA). At Cornell, she developed a consulting course and built a public service exchange program that provided professional engagement opportunities for M.P.A students and benefited local, state, national, and international organizations.
Ms. Haas Manley served most recently at The Culinary Institute of America in the Center for Career and Academic Advising and also taught College Writing in an adjunct faculty position. She is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Mid-Hudson Career Consortium (MHCC) and is active with a local social ministry group that organizes charitable events and community projects. In 2016, she completed an educational mission trip to the Amazon Rainforest in the Northern Loreto region of Peru.
Ms. Haas Manley earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University (1988), Master of Education in College Student Personnel from Ohio University (1992), and Master of Arts in English Literature from SUNY New Paltz (2015). Most recently, she was named on the President’s List for Academic Achievement at Capella University where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Leadership for Higher Education doctoral program. She lives in Poughkeepsie, NY, with her husband, James Manley Jr., and her two sons, James III and Michael.
