October 16, 2019—On October 10, the Marist NYC Executive Center and Marist’s School of Management hosted an evening with Fortune President and CEO Alan Murray.  Murray was joined in conversation by Marist alumnus Tom Murray ’02, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, and Clare McHugh, Vice President at the Sturgis Group and former Senior Director for Editorial Operations at Time Inc.  Much of the evening’s discussion centered on Alan Murray’s career, including as President of the Pew Research Center and Deputy Managing Editor at the Wall Street Journal.  Murray also touched upon the current state of journalism, the challenges facing corporate America, and the upcoming presidential election.  He also entertained questions from the audience, which was made up of business executives, Marist alumni, and friends of the College.
