Lauren Kidwell
During my time at Marist, I have had the opportunity to work closely in the Office of Advancement, where I started as a Phonathon Associate, where I grew my communication skills and my confidence, all while learning about the impact of the Marist Fund and how strong the Red Fox community is. After three years of calling, I worked closely with Rita Rogan as the Office of Advancement Intern. I have cherished my time as the intern where I got to work on special events, including the tailgate homecoming and our 2nd annual Day of Giving. I was able to use my creative side to create posters, stickers, social media posts, etc. Alongside being the Office of Advancement Intern, I was a Senior Class Officer acting as the Event Coordinator, where I got to assist in planning all senior-targeted events, including all of the senior week activities. As an acting officer, I  proposed and led the creation of a Senior Memory Book for the class of 2025, allowing students to contribute photos capturing meaningful campus landmarks and experiences, resulting in a 20-page hardcover keepsake to celebrate their time at Marist, full of collages and pictures that I designed. I am very proud of my achievements at Marist, but some of my fondest memories are when I got to travel abroad to Florence and Rome, Italy, and throughout South Africa with Dr Gavin, a part of the School of Management.
