Malcolm J.A. Jones

Professional Lecturer of Music
Malcolm Jones was named Lecturer of Music/Director of Bands at Marist College in August 2022. He spent the two years prior as Director of Bands at Casteel High School in Queen Creek, AZ. Prior to Casteel, he completed a two-year residency at Arizona State University where he was a graduate teaching assistant with the Wind and Athletic Bands. Before moving to Arizona, he was the Interim Director of Bands at Malone University (OH) and an Adjunct Professor at Kent State University (OH). He has also served as the Director of Bands in the Maple Heights City School District (OH), teaching grades 5-12. In addition to his Doctor of Musical Arts in Wind Band Conducting from ASU, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Akron (OH) and a Master of Music in Wind Band Conducting from Kent State University.
