Dr. Rose De Angelis

Bio

Dr. Rose De Angelis earned a BA in English summa cum laude from Lehman College (CUNY) in 1988 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in that same year. In 1989, she received an MA in Comparative Literature from Columbia University. She held a Teaching Fellowship at Fordham University from 1989 to 1992 and was awarded a Bennett Dissertation Fellowship in 1993, which facilitated the timely completion of her dissertation entitled The Dynamics of Triangular Desire in Late Nineteenth and Early Twentieth Century British Fiction. She received her Ph.D. in Modern British and American Literature in 1994.  Dr. De Angelis was a Visiting Professor of English at Fordham University before arriving at Marist in 1995.  At Marist, she was Director of Honors from 2001-2007. She usually teaches American and Ethnic literature.
