Dr. Jianing (Jade) Fang

Associate Professor of Accounting

Bio

Dr. Fang earned his double-major BA in Economics and Accounting and Information Systems with high honors in 1986 from Queens College, CUNY; MS in Taxation in 1993 from Washington School of Law; and DPS (Doctor of Professional Studies) in 2006 from Pace University. He passed the CPA examinations and was certified in 1990. Dr. Fang practiced public accounting for about five years and held a controller position in a private company for about 25 years. In the seven years before joining Marist College, Jade taught Managerial Finance, Taxation, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Advance Financial Accounting, and International Accounting at Long Island University, Pace University, and Iona College. Since 2010, Dr. Fang has been the Editor-in-Chief for Global Science and Technology Forums (GSTF) Annual International Conference on Accounting and Finance. He is one of the directors and associate editors for the International Business and Economy Conference. Dr. Fang is an Associate Editor for International Journal on GSTF Business Review and a reviewer for the CPA Journal among others. He has published three books and numerous research papers in refereed journals and presented them at national or international conferences.
