Jeffrey Midgley
Program Director for the PA Program
Bio
Jeffrey Midgley joined Marist full-time in August 2017 as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Physician Assistant Program. Mr. Midgley has been working with the PA program since 2015 as a member of the advisory board and in 2016 as a preceptor and adjunct faculty member. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2016 from Touro College, a BS in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University in 2006, and a BA in psychology from Binghamton University in 2004. Mr. Midgley has over 12 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, including five years in the Mid-Hudson Valley at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Northern Dutchess Hospital, and Putnam Hospital Center. His teaching experience includes instruction in EMT courses while at Binghamton University, adjunct faculty at Long Island University Physician Assistant Program, and lecturer for the Yale School of Medicine. He currently teaches Physical Diagnostics and Emergency Medicine to students in the PA Program. Mr. Midgley has a passion for integrating technology into the classroom and creating innovative methods to engage students.
