Robert Balogh-Robinson
Physics Lecturer
Bio
I was raised in and have lived in the Hudson Valley almost all my life. This gives me a unique perspective on Marist College and its place in the larger community. After teaching in high schools and being an adjunct instructor in local colleges, I found a home at Marist in 1997 as a teaching-focused lecturer. I served as the Chair of the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics for seven years during a rebuilding and growth phase. I expanded our Physics offerings and have seen enrollment in Physics courses more than triple. My wife (BS ’11, MA ’14) and daughter (BS ’11) are also part of the Marist family.
