Carrie Ann Flemming
Graduate Intern
Bio
Carrie Ann is a mental health counseling intern working toward an Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY New Paltz. She brings a background in transpersonal psychology, holistic healing, feminist spirituality, and expressive arts and has supported communities focused on reproductive justice, mental health, addiction recovery, and well-being.
Carrie Ann’s approach is client-centered and strengths-based, shaped by creative, existential, and intersectional frameworks and a commitment to social justice. Her work is grounded in curiosity and collaboration as she seeks to create a compassionate and affirming space for folks to know and be with themselves more fully.
Endlessly inspired by music and nature, she loves to daydream, read historical fiction, be with loved ones, and make things.
