Red Foxes Senior Athletics Awards Night

On May 5th, Marist Athletics honored the Class of 2025 in the McCann Center Recreational Gym. Awards included the Pizzani Award for character and commitment to Marist, the Sportsperson of the Year Award for women and men in athletic achievement, and several other honors recognizing exceptional contributions. Recipients were nominated by coaches and athletics staff.
Debate Society Travels to NYU

The Marist University Debate Society traveled to New York University to compete in the American Parliamentary Debate Association Nationals, where Matthew McCann ’26 earned a victory over Wellesley College. The competition offers students an opportunity to sharpen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in real time.
Fontaine Fest

Fontaine Fest is a biannual event that highlights student work, particularly from the English Department. It features the launch of The Mosaic, the student-run and produced literary magazine. Students gathered on the first floor of Fontaine Hall to celebrate creative work and connect with English faculty. Additionally, senior members of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society, received their graduation stoles.
Marist Poll Awards Event

The Marist Poll wrapped up the semester with a celebratory event honoring the Class of 2025 and recognizing the outstanding contributions of its student workers. Highlights included the presentation of several awards, including Rookie of the Year to Alex Buscemi '27 and Interviewer of the Year to Eric Johnston '27. The Jill M. Carboni Distinguished Service Award was presented to Lyam McGlynn '25, while the Ray Robinson Distinguished Service Award went to Neel Viswanathan '25. The Baccalaureate Award was given to Matthew Pater '25, rounding out a memorable evening of appreciation and achievement.
