Reminder About the Use of COVID Cleared
Dear Marist Students,
As we prepare for the return to campus and start of in-person classes, we are taking this opportunity to share information about an important, mandatory policy that will apply to all students this semester, regardless of vaccination status. This policy builds on our mutual success in the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters, and we believe they will make the Fall 2021 semester even more successful for Marist students and the greater community. We ask that you carefully review this policy, which applies to all students on campus during the Fall 2021 semester.
As a reminder, students who are in full compliance with Marist’s COVID-related policies are permitted on campus. This semester, the College will once again utilize COVID Cleared in MyMarist to help confirm whether students are cleared to come to campus each day.
Students who have met the requirements outlined below will see a green “Cleared” status bar under their name in myMarist. Students who do not meet the requirements outlined below will see a red “Not Cleared” status bar in myMarist under their name, and should click on “Action Items” to identify issues that must be resolved in order to obtain clearance status. Please note that students who are “Not Cleared” are not permitted to attend on-ground classes or come to campus.
Students are cleared to be on campus if they:
- Complete mandatory arrival and surveillance testing (if applicable)
- Comply with the College’s vaccination policy including exemption status
- Complete weekly Health Attestation (if applicable)
- Adhere to mandatory quarantine or isolation (if applicable)
- Are not subject to a judicial hold
We appreciate your ongoing commitment to Protecting the Pack and assisting us in keeping the Marist community safe.
