Panopto is Marist’s video platform that makes recording and sharing lectures simple and effective. Integrated within Brightspace, Panopto allows faculty to capture classes using multiple sources such as cameras screens and presentations and share those recordings directly within their courses. Students can create and access videos anytime, creating a flexible and convenient learning experience.  

Panopto can also make content more accessible. Anyone can quickly and easily create captions from Panopto videos with a few clicks. Lectures, recorded presentations, and other video content can be stored in a searchable video library, making it easier for students to locate and review specific content. Videos can be embedded directly into Brightspace course units, helping keep course materials organized in one place. 

With Zoom integration, class recordings are automatically uploaded to Panopto, reducing manual effort for faculty and ensuring students have consistent access to recorded sessions. Students can also use Panopto to create and submit video assignments, support flexible learning, and different ways to demonstrate understanding.
