Favorite Marist tradition:
Marist Tree Lighting Ceremony
Favorite college memory:
Study abroad! I studied abroad in China and have so many fond memories from this experience. I wanted to go to a location that would be a culturally beneficial experience for myself but also for the people that I came into contact with. China definitely didn’t disappoint in this regard.
Best advice for the college search:
While this may sound very cliché, my advice is for you to be yourself. Don’t change how you approach school and/or your classes to get admitted into a particular school. Do your research of course and prepare to put your best foot forward but be your authentic self. The college that see’s that and what you can add to their community will accept you.
Why did you choose to work for Marist:
I enjoy the ability to educate students in the southeast about the hidden gem of Marist University. Hopefully it doesn’t remain a ‘hidden’ gem for too long though!
What makes Marist special to you?
I love the opportunities that Marist provides students for hands-on and experiential learning. It just doesn’t provide opportunities for internships but the number of experiential learning opportunities right here on campus that students have is truly remarkable.
