Educational Background:

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in May of 2026. I majored in Communications with a dual concentration in Advertising and Public Relations and minors in Psychology and Global Studies. I was a member of the Honors Program and went through our Future Options and Choices for Undeclared Students (FOCUS) program my freshman year.

What were you involved with on campus as a student?

I served as the Editor-in-Chief of Mosaic, Marist’s student-run literary and arts magazine. I was an Account Executive for North Road Communications, Marist University’s student-run, nationally affiliated integrated marketing communications firm. I was a tour guide and served as a member of the Admission Student Leadership Board. I was a member of the Marist music program, where I participated in orchestra, chamber orchestra, handbell choir, and percussion ensemble. I was a member of dance ensemble. I worked for the FOCUS program as a peer mentor and for the Academic Learning Center as a peer tutor. I was a member of the Alpha Chi and Lambda Pi Eta honor societies. I did a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. 

Favorite spot on campus:

The campus green! I loved getting to spend time outside with my friends when we were not busy with classes or clubs. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic and watch the sunset!

Favorite Marist tradition:

The fireworks launched right off of the Hudson River during welcome week! It’s the perfect way to kick off the academic year. I loved sitting on the campus green and reconnecting with friends while watching the fireworks.

Favorite Marist memory:

I loved watching our Open House and Admitted Student Days come to life after all of the hard work the Admission Student Leadership Board members put in behind the scenes. I watched students fall in love with Marist and decide this was the place for them. It was such a full circle moment, I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it.

Best advice for the college search:

Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Whether it is a general question about campus or specific to a major you are interested in, your admission counselor is here to be a resource to you as you navigate the college search process. The college search can be overwhelming, we are here to support you as you navigate this process!

Why did you choose Marist:

When I first took a campus tour of Marist the fall of my senior year of high school, I could see myself being a student here. When I came back for an Accepted Student Weekend in April, I was able to attend information sessions on programs I was interested in and connect with current students and faculty members to learn more about their time at Marist. I knew this was the perfect place for me to grow as a student and a person. It was the best decision of my life!

What makes Marist special to you?

Marist has truly become a second home to me. I met people who I know I’ll be friends with for the rest of my life. I was able to continue my hobbies from high school but also try new things. I got to explore the world during my semester abroad and learn more about Italian culture and myself. I cried happy tears during graduation. I knew I would miss my time in college but I was so excited for the future opportunities ahead of me. I will forever be grateful for everything Marist has given me.
