Marist soon becomes your home away from home. As a student, you join a community of Red Foxes, deeply submerged in academic experiences and engaging activities. Life outside of the classroom affords students with the opportunity for personal growth and development that supports, and further enhances, their academic path. From exciting trips and volunteering, to annual fairs and residence hall events, there are countless opportunities for students to get involved while they experience life to the fullest.
First-Year Residence Halls
Residential life is an integral part of the total educational experience. The residential life program at Marist is based upon the philosophy of providing students with a safe, healthy, and attractive living environment that supports and supplements the educational mission of Marist. Marist offers five different residence hall options for first-year students:
Diversity Makes Our Community Stronger
We believe that diversity makes us stronger, therefore Marist offers an array of clubs, organizations, activities, and services that support the unique needs of our community members. As a member of the Marist community, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in the annual Diwali and Mon Afrique celebrations, a host of spirituality groups and community service activities, Greek life, the New York City Pride March, dozens of student clubs and organizations, ROTC, and many other examples of meaningful engagement with the world around you.

Admitted Student Days
Visit Marist during one of our Admitted Student Days, which are tailored to our admitted students. Students and families can meet with faculty, students, and alumni, explore our facilities, and experience campus life firsthand. This program is offered on multiple days to ensure all families who want to attend an event, can do so.
In-person visits are available with guided tours and information sessions, as well as specialty sunset tours. You'll get to see and learn about top places on campus, including the dining hall, residence halls, and academic buildings.

Marist Sports, Clubs, and Red Fox Pride
School spirit radiates among our students and Marist community. Hundreds come out in support of our student-athletes and cheer on our Red Foxes. The smell of turf at the Tenney Stadium, the pulsing roar of the stands in the McCann Arena – these are just some of the beloved experiences our Marist Community sustains.
