James Case-Leal
Bio
James Case-Leal is a multimedia artist whose work explores light, perception, and experience through painting, digital art, sculpture, and performance. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana, the Queens Museum of Art, Franklin Parrasch Gallery, and the Journal Gallery.
Case-Leal has received awards from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts, and has participated in residencies at Storm King Art Center, the Center for Book Arts, and the Lower East Side Printshop.
He holds an MFA in Sculpture/New Genres from Columbia University and has taught at Vassar College, Columbia University, SUNY New Paltz, and CUNY.
