Bio

Mengqi Gao (she/they) is an Assistant Professor of the Games & Emerging Media program at Marist University. She is a game designer, artist, and writer. She makes games, abstract art, poetry, fiction, and electronic literature. They are also interested in playing and mixing different mediums in their work. Her art explores the topics of mental health, feminism, queerness, racism, bilingual texts, and translations.
