At Marist, I got the opportunity to work for the Data Science department as a lead AI student scientist. I like to think that everything happens for a reason. Now, I am working side by side with faculty developing an AI powered chatbot with state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing (NLP) skills which will ultimately be incorporated to a robot who will serve as a robot assistant for Marist.

The department of Computer Science and Mathematics has provided me with so many opportunities that I am not sure I would have been able to have elsewhere. From working in the IBM Joint Study during my freshman summer, to completing independent projects with excellent teachers, getting data center experience under my belt in Hancock and even on the main floor at IBM, or simply spending time in the Hancock atrium conversing with faculty and peers.
