Chris Algozzine
Senior Professional Lecturer of Information Systems
Bio
Chris Algozzine is a graduate of Marist College, Class of 1989 and 1995M, and has proudly served full time since 2015 on the Marist School of Computer Science and Mathematics faculty since retiring from IBM. He now serves as a Senior Professional Lecturer of Information Systems.
Chris was employed for 26 years by IBM in positions ranging from robotics software developer to operating system tester. He became a manager leading teams in test, development, solutions engineering, and product marketing during his career. He is now a retired IBM Executive, a father of three, an avid outdoorsman, and proud to be engaged in the next chapter of his career at his alma mater, where he teaches upper-level IT and IS electives, as well as the capstone experiential project course for the CS, IT and IS students.
Chris and his wife Bonny (Marist Class of 1994) are also proud that their oldest child, Andrea (Marist Class of 2019) graudated with her degree in Mathematics Education, and their youngest, Lillian (Marist Class of 2024) is here studying Business Entrepreneurship.
