The Intersection of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence: Emerging Trustability Challenges and Opportunities

Dr. Dennis Moreau is a researcher and practitioner whose career has followed the security frontier of the major computational evolutions of the past three decades. From distributed systems and virtualization to artificial intelligence and quantum computation, his work has consistently focused on the foundational challenges and opportunities to the objectives of realizing and sustaining privacy, trust, and reliability, that have accompanied these often-disruptive transitions.
His most recent work addresses system-level challenges of post-quantum cryptography adoption, presented at Real World Crypto 2022, and the emerging questions of platform trustability, system integrity, and lifecycle security, presented at ACSAC 2023. He currently consults with AI startups on platform and service security architectures, working at the boundary of the rapidly evolving understanding of AI architectures and the challenges posed by ecosystem adoption.
