About Our Organization

Marist ski club is the official ski team at Marist College, and is a part of the McBrine Divison within the greater United States Collegiate Skiing Association. For six weekends throughout January and February, we travel to ski areas across New England to compete with other colleges in our division. We participate in both giant slalom and slalom skiing disciplines and encourage our members to also participate in the snowboarding and freestyle/park events.

As a team, we are diverse in that many of us have different backgrounds in skiing, academic interests, experiences, and opinions. We cherish the opportunity to ski and ride on the weekends as it offers a "get-away" experience and nurtures lasting companionships. We work to emphasize the fun in skiing, ensure a supportive and inclusive experience for all members, and represent Marist as a top competitor within the McBrine Division.

Our success in recent years has been enabled by experienced racers and rapid improvement of the team. We have consistently proved to be one of the strongest teams in the division and have every intention to continue our growth. We look forward to pursuing success in the seasons to come and further appreciate the sport of skiing alongside our friends and teammates.
