Rocky Love
Lecturer of English, Theatre Technical Director
Bio
Hailing from West Virginia, Rocky (He/Him) received his BA in Visual and Performing Arts from West Virginia University and his MFA in Technical Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the Marist faculty, he served as Technical Director for The REV Theatre Co. (Auburn, NY). Rocky was previously Technical Director for Opera House Arts (Stonington, ME), Bristol Valley Theater (Naples, NY), Opera Idaho (Boise ID), and Ballet Idaho (Boise, ID) where he also served as Production Manager for three years. In addition to his TD work, Rocky's resume includes professional titles with PlayMakers Repertory Company (Chapel Hill, NC), Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre (Grand Lake, CO), Boise Contemporary Theater (Boise, ID), and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival (Boise, ID). When not working on a show, Rocky can normally be found in a wood shop, or exploring the great outdoors with his partner Jen and their dog, Wallace.
