Dr. Gladys Antonio
Lecturer in International Business and Communication
Bio
Dr. Gladys Antonio has a doctorate in International Economic Development and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver, an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the Daniels College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. Prior to her academic career, Gladys amassed a wealth of professional experiences in finance and accounting from a range of corporations in the US and abroad. Before joining Marist as Lecturer in International Business and Communication, Gladys taught economics and cross-cultural Management in the Offutt School of Business at Concordia College in Minnesota. She also taught graduate courses in globalization and non-profit leadership in the joint PhD program between the University of Denver and the Iliff School of Theology. As part of her key responsibilities, Gladys co-organized and co-led student immersion trips to Southern Africa.
Her scholarship reflects her interdisciplinary and global interests in economic development, global communication, and multinational corporations. She is a member of the American Management Association, the International Communication Association, and the National Communication Association.
