Dr. Ken Sloan
Associate Professor
Bio
Since 2003, Dr. Sloan has been a member of the faculty in Marist’s School of Management, where he teaches 21st Century Management and the Leadership, Power, and Influence courses in the MBA and MPA programs. At the undergraduate level, he teaches Compensation and HR Analytics.
He is actively involved with small- and mid-sized businesses in the Mid-Hudson Valley and conducts a regional wage and benefits survey each fall for the Council of Industrial Organizations.He also serves as an executive coach for the Princeton Management Development Institute.
Ken has a BA in psychology, an MBA, and an MPA.In addition, he completed his doctoral studies at The George Washington University in the area of Human Resources and Organization Development.
Prior to joining the Marist faculty, Dr. Sloan had a 20-year career with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, where his final position was that of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer for the Worldwide Pharmaceutical Group.
