Marilyn Lashlee DNP, CPNP-PC, PMHNP-BC, CNE, RN
Founding Program Director, Nursing
Bio
Dr. Lashlee brings an exceptional combination of academic leadership, clinical expertise, and nursing education experience to her role as Founding Program Director, Nursing Program. She began her career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Lehman College, a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northeastern University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Mount Saint Mary College.
Dr. Lashlee has over 16 years of service in nursing academia and has previously worked as an Associate Professor of Nursing and Graduate Nursing School Coordinator, overseeing Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner programs, as well as a Master’s track in Nursing Education. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, program development, and student success.
Dr. Lashlee also brings a distinguished clinical background as a board-certified Pediatric and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
