Naira Arrykova

Physical Science Lab Coordinator

Bio

Naira Arrykova joined Marist University in 2026 as the Physical Science Lab Coordinator. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nanotechnology from the National University of Science and Technology MISIS, where her undergraduate research focused on physical chemistry, with an emphasis on solid-state chemistry.

She went on to complete her Master of Science in Chemistry at Mississippi State University under the advisement of Dr. Sidney Creutz. Her graduate research and thesis focused on the synthesis of colloidal perovskite and non-perovskite nanomaterials for solar cell applications. During her graduate studies, she taught General Chemistry I and II, introductory organic chemistry, and chemistry laboratory recitations for two years.

Following the completion of her master’s degree, Naira served as an Adjunct Professor at both Marist University and Mount Saint Mary College, where she taught General Chemistry I laboratory courses as well as Fundamentals of Nursing chemistry laboratories and lectures.
