Student Activities

Participation in the Criminal Justice Society (CJS) allows students to gather informally to meet, share experiences, and discuss plans for the future. Guest speakers are often brought to campus through the direction of CJS, and visits to various agencies and faculties are coordinated through CJS. The Society hosts an annual Criminal Justice Career Day in which representatives from Criminal Justice agencies, services, and departments distribute job applications and descriptions. Delta Chi is our chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the national criminal justice honor society. Students must maintain a grade-point-average of 3.2 in the major and 3.0 overall to be considered for membership. Students graduating with a cumulative 3.5 GPA are given preference in most federal agency positions.
