Strategic Plan
Communication and Engagement
The Strategic Planning Co-Chairs and Steering Committee are committed to a transparent and inclusive process to develop the new plan, and we welcome your input into the planning process. To this end, to gather input on the planning process the steering committee developed a robust communication and engagement strategy that included listening sessions, Cabinet and Board of Trustee Retreats, and a survey. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education self-study process has also provided the steering committee with important inputs to the process through the self-study itself, the evidence inventory, and the institutional priorities. To date, the planning process has included 23 listening sessions, 3 Cabinet retreats, 3 Board of Trustee retreats, and a survey that has received over 500 responses.

One of the first objectives of the Steering Committee will be to develop a robust communications and engagement strategy that ensures multiple opportunities and vehicles through which you can contribute your ideas, including participation on a working group, in a listening session or town hall, or through written feedback submitted via strategicplan@marist.edu.
