Marist University Partners with Follett Higher Education to Launch New Campus Bookstore Experience

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist University today announced a new partnership with Follett Higher Education, North America’s largest campus retailer, to operate the University’s campus bookstore and deliver a modern retail experience designed to serve the needs of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader Marist community.

Through this partnership, Marist will introduce a refreshed campus retail environment with highly curated merchandise assortments and a seamless shopping experience in person and online that increases engagement for store visitors. The revitalized store will serve as a dynamic campus hub where students can access course materials, apparel, and everyday essentials while connecting with the Marist community.

Given the University’s renowned programs in fashion design and merchandising, business, and marketing and PR, the store concept aligns closely with Marist’s commitment to experiential learning and student leadership. The partnership will explore opportunities to engage students across disciplines directly in the retail experience through campus programming, merchandising input, and community-driven events that reflect the spirit and identity of Marist.

The new store will prioritize value-driven offerings and expanded general merchandise selections designed to resonate with student preferences while celebrating Red Fox pride. The online site will offer convenient, 24/7 access to course materials, apparel, technology, and more.

Beginning June 10, 2026, Follett will manage both the physical campus store and the online retail experience for Marist University. The updated online store will offer convenient, 24/7 access to course materials, apparel, gifts, technology, and more, allowing students and alumni to stay connected to Marist from anywhere.
