March 4, 2019—In response to the recent news that the College of New Rochelle would be closing its campus this summer, Marist College in Poughkeepsie is issuing a welcome to CNR students.

“Marist is a transfer-friendly institution and we are very sympathetic to the situation that College of New Rochelle students now find themselves navigating,” said Kent Rinehart, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Undergraduate Admission at Marist. “We encourage these students to contact us about finishing their degrees at Marist. We offer a wide range of supports for transfer applicants. ”

Marist was recently ranked #8 among Regional Universities—North by U.S. News and World Report and was also named #2 Most Innovative School in the same category. This year Marist will open an Executive Center in midtown Manhattan and, pending accreditation, the Marist Health Quest School of Medicine will open in 2022.
